Supression
Gone-Away
Suppression
CCR uses the National Business Database to offer
Business Gone-Away suppression at two levels.
Firstly, at Company level - where complete companies
have moved or shut down, we can help to identify
these records on your database, using a number
of Industry standard suppression files.
Secondly CCR can identify individuals
at existing companies who have moved away from
that business allowing you to make efforts to
identify the appropriate new contact in that role.
Once identified as a gone away, CCR can then run
a telephone campaign to gain new information –
see Data Profiling section.
Postcode
Address File (PAF) Processing
PAF cleansing ensures that your business addresses
on your database are accurate to the latest Postcode
Address File updates. Using a specialist commercial
PAF dataset, this service will ensure postcodes
are added or amended, missing address lines are
completed and addresses are in a standard Royal
Mail format.
CCR also uses National Business
Database information to verify the company name
and address combinations you have on your files.
De-Duplication
CCR uses phonetic fuzzy matching to identify potential
duplicates on your database, we can de-dupe at
business or contact level and can group records
together based on company information. Using our
de-duplication service will allow you to avoid
holding two records on the same contact or company
which will allow you to build a complete picture
of sales opportunities.
Telephone
Appending
Using the business version of the BT OSIS file,
CCR can check and append phone numbers where available.
This file is updated on a daily basis and should
be used in conjunction with the Corporate Telephone
Preference Service.
