Scanning Technology
The use of scanning technology using barcodes
reduces keystroke entry and improves accuracy
when used as part of a campaign linked into individuals
on a database. When the coupon is scanned, the
unique ID number will bring up the exact record
on your database meaning typographic errors are
greatly reduced.
Images can be scanned
and indexed using Kodak high speed scanners in
order to achieve Gift Aid coupons, Direct Debit
forms or any information which needs to be kept
digitally.
CCR can also use OCR
(Optical Character Recognition) and OMR (Optical
Mark Recognition) to automatically scan and capture
data and would be happy to advise on coupon design
in order to carry this out.
