What is E-Append?
- E-Append is a simple cost effective way of getting email addresses appended to your customer base.
- It is a pooled database of opted-in email addresses from different suppliers.
- Complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Act 2003 and the DMA Guidelines.

Where does the data come from?
- Internal data sources: Reactiv Media, Acxiom.
- External data sources: IPT, CACI plus others.
- Total volume 27m (15m unique).
- Match rates up to 25%.

These suppliers obtain the information from various data sources such as lifestyle questionnaires, transactional websites and online questionnaires etc...

How does the process work?
- Name and Address data sent to CCR Data.
- The data is audited and matched against the internal data sources.
- If higher match rate required the external sources are used.
- Email addresses are used to send an email from the potential client explaining why they would like to email the customer.
- Consumer has opportunity to opt out of their email address being past on or to opt out of being on the original supplier's list.
- Successful data is appended.

Legal Information

DMA best practice guidleines 2007
- Appending permitted when an individual has explicitly opted-in to receive email marketing messages from a particular company.
- Having consented to their email address being used in this way it is then best practice to send an email either from: the data owner or the Client Company.

Privacy and Electronics Communications Act 2003
- Regulation 22(2) provides that you can send emails for direct marketing purposes if the recipient of the email has consented to you sending emails of this nature.
- The relevant individuals have consented to use of their data by third parties for direct marketing purposes.
- CCR sends a specific request which may be branded from the data supplier to the individual, allowing them to opt-out of receiving information from the client by email.

Email Verification

To verify your current and existing email addresses we use sophisticated software that pings each email address to see if it is still valid, but we will also pick up any duplicate entries and any invalid email addresses.
