Telephone Number Appending
The telephone is widely renowned as one of the most effective communication mediums, and is vital to nurturing an effective relationship. Telephone number appending quite simply adds a telephone number to a name and postal address.
There are lots of ways that we can help you get through to the right person, first time.
Landline Telephone number appending
You may have a telephone number for your customer, but is it right one? Individuals and businesses have multiple telephone numbers per address. Our experts at CCR use the UK’s leading telephone number appending tools, with access to over 27 million landline subscribers and around 50,000 changes 6 days a week. This gives you the power to improve the population of telephone numbers within your data and leads to increased response rates and improved return on investment.
Mobile Telephone number appending
Mobile numbers are becoming increasingly important for keeping in touch with customers with over 90% of the UK population owning a mobile and people relying less and less on their landlines. Increasingly SMS messages are being combined with other channels such as email, online and traditional DM to create integrated marketing campaigns.
CCR have access to 18m mobile numbers which can be matched to customer name and address records for appending purposes, data is sourced from a variety of opted-in 3rd parties including transactional websites, lifestyle surveys, competitions and financial services data.
All numbers can be validated before supply, ensuring you are only paying for live numbers.
Ex-directory telephone numbers cannot be added using telephone number appending, we supply a flag to indicate that an active telephone line is available for the customer, but we cannot supply the telephone number itself.
Telephone Preference Service (TPS)
The TPS file contains details of individuals at their residential address, who have registered their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing telephone calls. It is a legal requirement that companies do not make such calls to numbers registered on the TPS. Organisations found in breach of this can face a fine of up to £5,000.
Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS)
The CTPS is the central opt-out register of businesses who do not wish to receive unsolicited sales and marketing telephone calls to either all their organisation’s telephone numbers, or to certain numbers. It is a legal requirement that companies do not make such calls to numbers registered on the CTPS.
